Our first Christmas was amazing! We had Trent's Sister and Brother-in-Law, Sarah and Kristopher as well as his brother Tanner stay with us. We had MANY late nights and we had so much fun with them. We went to TC Eggintons, had our favorite foods at my parent's house (Christmas Eve) and ate LOTS of food and spent time with our amazing families. We are so grateful that my parents were so generous and gave Trent a new computer. His computer died about a week before Christmas and we were not sure how we were going to afford buying him a new computer for school. We also spent the day after Christmas with my parent's best friends. They are awesome! Make sure to watch the dad's dance.
Our first Christmas Tree. Jordan and Marshall left it on our car the Sunday after Thanksgiving! THANK YOU!
We also went to Prescott/Jerome with my family and stayed in a house up on the hill by the main street in Prescott. We loved the delicious food that we ate in Prescott and all of the artsy shops in Jerome. If you have not ever been to Jerome, GO! It is on the top of the rim and there are little streets that run back and forth, like switchbacks, with the cutest little shops. We also went and looked at the old mine shaft, HOLY COW! I could NEVER be a miner. The hole was so deep!
My silly shisher
It is probably bad that I like this so much!
Eeeeek!
On New Years Eve we went to hang out with our friends Jordan and Marshall at Jordan's parents house and played on their new x-box kinect. Trent wants me to make sure to mention that the first time he tried golf he got a hole-in-one. Oh the talent that boy has. We then went to meet up with Melanie, Tommy (our soon to be brother-in-law) and Tanner. I am not sure how Trent and Tanner sweet talked their way into the party on Mill, but a man who was on security let us in for free. We went inside and ran to one of the dance parties and counted down to New Years. We walked around and danced more and then headed home. It was an eventful night. We love our siblings!
For Civil Right's Day (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) we decided to go out on a hot date to Ikea. We made some great purchases; a potato peeler, drawer organizers and a few other things. We also decided to eat there and we got a buffalo chicken wrap that was one of the spiciest things that I have ever eaten, who would have thought? We also got cake...so we had something to wash down the spicy. My Trent keeps me entertained by making sure to always find the timers and setting a few of them, or maybe a lot, and walking away. Haha, love him!
