I'm not sure why part of the Alice in Wonderland poem that I learned in 3rd grade came to my mind as I sat down to begin this blog, but here it is, well...my own adapted version. Welcome the the Valentine blog. I thought I'd start from the Valentine beginning, our first date, enjoy!


I had a TON to do in my classroom and I decided to eat lunch in my room. My phone rang and it was Mr. Trent Valentine. He asked if I wanted to go to the state fair with him on Friday night. Trent and I had been friends and in the same social circle for a long time and I was REALLY excited to go. Our friends Hilary and Bronson were going with us. First we went to "backyard tacos." (We miss them!) Then we headed off to the fair. We ate yummy fried food, went on the ferris wheel, took silly pictures with our phones in the photo booth and laughed A LOT! Perfect first date.
